With global warming and pollutions taking centrestage in many industries today, we at JCH are proud to say that we are not a contributor to environmental issues as most of the construction and development projects choose steel truss as the first selection material. It is not surprising that we are rated top one percent among all roofing companies in the country. We also have had many good reviews from customers over our high quality of materials and workmanship as well as services.
In order to improve the quality of our products, we have set up our own production line with advanced machinery and technology to perform roofing activities such as forming machines for GIBS, GDEK, GSPAN, GLOK, GCUREVE, GLIPPED CHANNEL, GBATTEN, Capping, Wall Flashing, and Valley Gutter, Cutting Machine and also Bending Machine.
By striving to build a solid foundation that would take our organisation into the future, we have further revived and improved JCH and instituted a Quality Management System that ensures full quality control under all our directors, management and staff. Our effort has proven success as JCH Steel (M) Sdn Bhd was certified ISO 9001, Sirim QAS and CIDB in 2019 & 2021. As part of our social contribution, we have expanded our organisation and formed a subsidiary company JCH Trading Sdn Bhd and JCH Steel Construction Sdn Bhd. In doing so, we want to provide more conveniences to our customers and end-users with our One Stop Roofing Solution.
At JCH, our vision is to become the fore-runner steel manufacturer in East Boneo. According to plan, we saw the establishment of a new branch in Miri in 2018, and in Bintulu and Kuching in 2021. Other new branches are scheduled to open in the near future. As per our schedule, JCH is going to establish a new branch in Kota Kinabalu that will be completed by 2025, and followed by another one in Tawau, Sabah. Meanwhile Sibu, which is strategically located in the centre of Sarawak, will take its place as the headquarter of our organisation, located in a vicinity with ample room for enlargement.
While the Covid-19 Pandemic had badly affected many organisations and industries in the year 2020 to 2021, it’s not the case for JCH. To date, according to JCH’s financial report, our company’s net profit continues to rise steadily. From our start in 2015, the company’s total sale had increased with an average of 30% to 45% percent each year. From a total sale of RM1.68 million in 2015, our financial figure had risen to a staggering RM7.77million in 2019. We almost reached RM15 million sale in 2020 and in the 2021, we are aiming to achieve a total sale of more than 50% increased.
Sarawak and Sabah are the two largest states in Malaysia and there is a lot of potential for growth in these regions. We at JCH have grand vision and business plans for our organisation in the coming 10 years to become one of the most successful names in the industry. Our organisation’s three founders hail from Sibu and they wish to provide more job opportunities to the people in their motherland. Indeed, the growth of the organisation has witnessed a rapid rise in our workforce. With only eight employees when we began, the organisation now has a workforce of over 100 employees after six years. We are looking forward to approaching 500 employees as our goal in the coming years.
Moving forward, we want to achieve our ambition and plan to expand our organisation headquarter in Sibu; and in doing so, to drive Sibu to become a vibrant city and a community of great opportunities and potential.
